Our Philosophy
At Wildr Love, we love telling love stories of wild-hearted
lovers. We live for weddings in distant places, vows that
honor God, and lovers who can’t get enough of each other.
We approach our work from a documentary point of view:
though we do create scenes and poses, most of our work is
captured as it happens. We love using different mediums
to tell your story like digital photography, 35mm + super 8
film, and polaroids.
When you choose us, you choose photos and videos that you will look
back at in 30 years and feel the emotion you felt on your
special day. Timeless, intimate, genuine is our style.
SYDNEY & STEPHEN
Sydney, originally from Kansas City, started Wildr in 2019
after shooting a handful of weddings throughout college. She
loves serving couples through photography and capturing love
stories in a timeless, romantic style.
Stephen, born and raised in South Africa, is a filmmaker and
film photographer with a special eye for cinematic moments.
His films have been shown in film festivals across the globe,
and his photography work has been featured in several
publications.
We fell in love on a mission trip in Tanzania, got married in
Ireland, and now live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with our
baby girl and goldendoodle. Our desire is to create timeless,
emotional, and nostalgic work that you will cherish forever.
